A Fistful of Arrows

Ok.. wow.. just wow.

Every now and then something pops up that you weren't expecting, something that leaves you lost for words and slack jawed at how alarmingly good it is. This is one of those things.

Take the jump for more:

Artist and Halo fan Levi “Leviathan” Hoffmeier over at HBO has put together this stunning graphic novel filling in some of the blanks left in the story of Reach. Chief among which being what happened to Jun following his exit during the Reach campaign.

A Fistful of Arrows (named after the tattoo on Jun's neck) is available to read in full over at, you can also download it as a .pdf if you prefer. And in a move approaching absurd levels of awesome Sean Mortensen has put together a soundtrack to listen to whilst you're reading.

So that's a 98 page graphic novel, with production values to rival anything we've seen from Marvel's Halo work, an original soundtrack composed to form a perfect backing track to the novel. All produced by Halo fans, for Halo fans, for free.

Kudos, gentlemen.

There's a whole boatload of content, assets and discussion over at
Go check it out. Now.
