Mcrosoft Announce a Live-Action Halo TV Series in Conjunction with Steven Spielberg

At the launch event for Microsoft's new console the Xbox One, a new live-action, Halo TV series was announced in conjunction with Steven Spielberg.

This is a massive move for the franchise, taking it out of the realm of games and books and into the mainstream. No more details were revealed, but I imagine it will feature familiar faces and probably have some sort of Xbox Live exclusivity - See it first with Xbox Live Gold, that sort of thing.

I'll bring you more as soon as we get it.

- Cowboy Out.

  1. Live action series like forward onto dawn,YES!!!!!!!!

    1. A TV-series sounds like something bigger than the relatively short FoD episodes. And though his latest efforts have been a little 'meh', I'd really want no any other director for this, except for maybe Del Toro, but hey.
The Xbox One reveal was pretty horrid though. I really was inclined to get the PS4 before, for the exclusive PS-Destiny stuff, but promised myself if they'd announce anything Halo for the Xbox I'd still get one of 'em. No reason for that with a series though; PS4 confirmed! =p
